Kleeblattlauf und USI-Fest auf 20. Juni verschoben

Der für morgen Freitag, 13. Juni, geplante Kleeblattlauf wird aufgrund der tragischen Ereignisse am BORG Dreierschützengasse auf Freitag, den 20. Juni um 16 Uhr verschoben. Das Universitätssportinstitut (USI) wird alle angemeldeten Staffeln morgen Freitag per E-Mail darüber informieren, wie Änderungen der Lauf-Teams oder Stornierungen vorgenommen werden können. Im Anschluss an den Kleeblattlauf findet dann das USI-Fest statt.

The University of Graz is deeply shocked and saddened by the terrible incident at the BORG school in Dreierschützengasse. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with the victims and their families. We understand that students and staff are shocked by this event and recommend seeking support to help process this tragic incident. This act has hit us hard and left us speechless! Nevertheless, we must not allow ourselves to be discouraged by such attacks, but should instead strive to foster a spirit of togetherness. The federal government has declared three days of national mourning. We ask you to consult within your organisational unit whether events should be cancelled or under what circumstances they can take place. Some events at our university have already been cancelled. Thank you for your understanding!

For the first time, this method enables reliable monitoring of the Paris climate goals and shows that temperatures are rising faster than expected in the latest IPCC report. The new findings have just been published in the scientific journal Communications Earth & Environment.

StudiGPT: University of Graz launches first AI chatbot for students

The University of Graz is the first university in Austria to launch the AI chatbot "studiGPT" to support students in their studies. Available free of charge to all students from 21 May, it is complemented by the new micro-degree "AI and Society" for comprehensive knowledge in the future field of artificial intelligence.
